Are You Discontent?
 
Do you long for peace in your soul?
And need someone to make you whole?
Do you need hope that's steadfast and true?
And heal the brokenness within you?
 
Take heart, my friend, for there is hope
There is a Savior, kind and true,
Who longs to give you peace and rest,
And offers sweet healing for your needy soul.
 
Are you discontent, my friend?
Do you feel lost in the fray?
Does the world seem to spin,
In a direction far astray?
 
In gloom and despair, trust Jesus' way,
Stay your heart in His Word each day,
Sit beside the lowly Jesus, find comfort in His place.
For direction is found in His loving grace.
 
Do you find the world against you,
Ready to cut you down?
Do troubles come and foes arise,
And life's demands seem hard to surmise?
 
Live in Christ and find calm and rest,
Embrace His yoke, His burden is light,
Learn of His word, and peace shall flow,
God's hope shines bright, when you stoop low.
 
Does your journey seem so dark and grim?
Is there no hope, no light within?
Do you seek a way to heal and grow?
And are you destined to suffer and woe?
 
If when the road ahead begins to dim,
And the future's uncertain, hope is slim,
Trust in Christ, His Word shall build you,
And give you light, He'll lead you through.
 
Are you troubled and falling apart?
Does darkness loom and weigh on your heart?
Do doubts arise, making it hard to stand tall?
Do you wonder if you can make it at all?
 
Christ knows your heart; He sees your pain,
Look unto Jesus, it’ll not be in vain,
Amidst the chaos and despair,
He’s a Savior with arms wide open to share.
 
Beyond the darkness and the fear.
His joy will come, both far and near.
Believe in God, and you will find,
His Word will guide and calm your mind.
