Pang to Love

From darkness came light,
A story of pain turned bright.
A little child, innocent and pure,
Abused in ways no child should endure.

Years went by, the pain inside,
A secret kept, emotions to hide.
Until one day, my cry was heard,
A sob for help, a healing word.

And in that moment, a new path began,
A journey of faith, a guiding hand.
Jesus Christ, healer of my soul,
Filling my heart with love untold.

The pain of the past, now a tool,
To help the youth, to guide and rule.
A purpose found, a life renewed,
God's plan revealed, a heart imbued.

So I give praise to the Lord above,
For taking pang and turning it to love.
For giving hope, for showing grace,
For leading me to a better place.
