Many attend churches professing belief in Jesus, yet without possessing Him in their lives. They are going to church and headed to hell. Modern Christianity proclaims a false gospel that teaches belief in Jesus without repentance, contradicting the Bible. It is a farce (deception; lie; nontruth) to claim belief in Jesus meanwhile refusing to repent. Jesus is light, sinless, pure, and holy; when He takes residence within our dirty vessels, He begins to clean house. If you profess Jesus, yet your life remains unchanged, then you might be deceived and still separated from God. Repentance is a sincere change in heart, mind, and actions. It's not sinless, but a repentant heart recognizes one’s awful state of sin, evoking a contrite and sorrowful heart, that yearns to turn away from choices that offend and grieve God. Repentance bears fruit in new choices, behaviors, and lifestyle that demonstrate faith and honor Jesus Christ.
