I am writing to you from the Annabel Orphanage in Guadalajara, Mexico. I have been here since August 28th assisting Missionaries Robert and Joy Murillo with their school until December 14th.
Since being here I have got to make friendships with some children in my neighborhood who literally have parents who do not care for them. It breaks my heart to see not only teenagers but little children as young as 7 years to hang out with druggies. I have got to witness to them on several occasions and everyday I try to demonstrate real care towards them. I share this brief testimony with you to demonstrate why I am so grateful for Christ-centered orphanages such as the Annabel Orphange. Such a children's helps to give real souls an opportunity to see and feel real love.
The Annabel Orphanage has had such a positive impact in Mexico that a church in Guatemala along with the country over the last few years has beseeched the Murillos to headup and direct an orphanage in Guatemala too. The Murrilos have diligently done all the legal paper work; in addition, they were able to aquire some good land, and now they are soon going to start constructing the Home. They have one need that I would ask and beg if you might find in your heart to please help? The owner of the adjacent land in Guatemala has agreed that he will sell them a section of land (which will allow them to have a solid square great size) for only $1,700 US. Would you please help them purchase this land with a financial contrubution? Together we can love more child!
