In shadows deep, where shame resides,
A tale unfolds, where darkness hides.
From whispered lips, these words do spill,
A tale of loss, a bitter thrill.
Shame on you, echoes through the night,
A damning cry, a piercing spite.
You've caused God's foes to blaspheme loud,
Their wicked tongues in anguish proud.
You despise the Word, you dare to stray,
From God’s righteous path, you've turned away.
You’ve forsaken His way, a grievous choice,
Now anger sears, your soul's own voice.
Your life once pure, now shrouded in haze,
In distant lands, where virtue decays.
No longer do you walk with God,
Lost in the wilderness, deep and flawed.
Refusing to repent, your heart stands cold,
Embracing sin, as tales unfold.
But listen closely, for hope is still near,
A path to grace, to mercy’s steer.
Search the depths of your heart for remorse,
A chance to change, to steer your course.
Cast off the chains that bind you tight,
Seek redemption, embrace Christ’s light.
Though pain may linger, a constant ache,
Embrace God’s truth, your soul can take.
Let healing start, through contrite tears,
Renew your faith, move beyond your fears.
For God's forgiveness knows no bounds,
In mercy's arms, peace can be found.
Repent and forsake the path of woe,
And let His love in your heart grow.
So rise, dear soul, from shadows deep,
Embrace the grace that's yours to keep.
Let shame be but a distant past,
And find redemption's peace at last.
