There are bound to be setbacks in our plans. Make every setback an opportunity. If there's an unexpected delay, turn it into writing time , learning time , or even evangelizing time . Don’t allow one second to go by being idle.
To Make the Best of Extra Time:
Learn a New Skill: When unexpected delays occur, use the time to pick up a new skill or deepen your understanding of a topic that interests you. Online courses, tutorials, and books are great resources for personal growth.
Connect and Share: Utilize any idle moments to connect with friends, family, or acquaintances. Engage in meaningful conversations to spread faith, encouragement, and positivity.
Reflect and Meditate: Transform idle time into a chance for personal reflection and spiritual growth. Spend the moments reflecting on a Bible verse, praying, or reading scripture to strengthen your faith and renew your focus.
As God admonishes: “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16).
Luke 19:13: “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”
Proverbs 6:6-8: "Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest."
Proverbs 10:4: "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich."
Proverbs 12:24: "The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute."
Proverbs 13:4: "The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat."
Spread positivity and make every moment count!
