It deeply bothers me when I hear people in the USA express hate for Christmas because Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. 🎄 To me, that detail is secondary. While a thorough study of the Holy Bible indicates that Jesus was born in late September, what truly matters is the significance of memorializing the incarnation of God in human flesh. 📖 I am grateful and joyous that we have a designated date to celebrate one of the greatest acts of God. 🙌
I have traveled to various parts of the world where there are no churches, no Christians, and no thought of Christmas. ✈️ I've gained a profound appreciation that the name of Jesus Christ is found all over America. 🌎 In places like Asia, India, and Latin America, I've walked by countless statues of gods that hear not, see not, nor think. 🗿 Lifeless gods of Buddhism, Hinduism, Catholicism, and other religions. This is the reality for billions in many countries, and therefore I am very thankful for Christmas—a dedicated day to celebrate the true and living God Jesus Christ. 🙏 Many parts of the world are filled with dead religions and god made by men, and here in the USA, we have Christmas, a special day that stands as a vibrant testament to the reality of the true and living Savior to take away the sins of many through His sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection. ✝️🌟
