Amidst the chaos of this world so vast,
Where everyone is running so fast,
There lies a secret to happiness so true,
The key to which is contentment in all we do.
Oh so common, we often yearn for more,
A burning desire to achieve and soar,
We seek the next big thing, the grander stage,
While ignoring the blessings of our present age.
But in our quest for greater heights,
We forget to appreciate life's delights,
To cherish the present and be grateful,
And not let our desires to become unfaithful.
When our hearts desire what we cannot attain,
We only cause ourselves misery and pain,
For God has a purpose and a glorious plan,
There our contentment lies in trusting His hand.
It's not about the wealth, fame or power,
But about being grateful in the present hour,
Accepting God's plan and where He's placed us,
And finding joy in the blessings that surround us.
So in all things, give thanks and pray,
And let God's will lead you today.
Be content where you are right now,
To find true happiness, if you let God allow.
