Jesus, You are my Savior, my hope, my all
You are my Lord, I surrender at Your call,
You demand my whole, my heart, my life
I’ll follow and obey, in joy and in strife
Committed true, I am espoused to You,
Guide me by Your Word, my heart longs to pursue,
My soul thirsts to know You, to hear Your voice anew,
Together on this journey, in deep communion with You.
“Lord, where are You going?” My heart cries out to God,
I'll follow, wherever You might trod.
To the wilderness, if that be Your path,
Though dry and troubled land, my trust in You is steadfast.
Lord, if You lead me through the wilderness,
Help me not to fear or grumble in distress,
For in every step, I know You are with me,
Your Word and grace, my constant strength for victory.
In the fires, Lord, I'll go with You,
For there may be one in need of rescue,
My life, my all, to serve Your right plan,
To be used as You will, and serve with open hands.
If into the fires You lead my way,
Shield me from flames kindled in anger's sway,
And keep my heart from bitterness and critique,
May Your Word in my heart echo relief.
Perhaps You'll tread the waters of the sea,
Performing great wonders in the deep for all to see,
Your presence I'll follow wherever You may lead,
Your hope, please secure me, as we cross the deep.
May Your will be done, Lord, in every place
As I follow You, in step and pace
For You are not just Savior, but Lord, indeed
My all in all, my every need.
