Mirror, mirror, do you see
The person who is truly me?
Your gaze so clear, so pure, so true,
Reflecting all that I journey through.
You show me all my flaws and all,
My strengths and frailties, both big and small,
A faithful friend that's always there,
Reflecting back my every stare.
Sometimes, when I gaze at you,
I wonder if it's really true,
If the person staring back is me,
Or just a mere reflection I see.
But then I feel a deeper sense,
A kinship beyond our near presence.
For in your frame, I see a soul,
A mirror image of my own.
Mirror, mirror, through the years,
You've witnessed joys and shed some tears,
But in your frame, I see a trace,
Of the person I was, and who I'll face.
You’ve showed me where I fall apart,
The doubts and fears that plague my heart.
But in your gaze, I now find a spark,
A glimmer of hope that lights the dark.
I see the person I can be,
The strength and grace that lie in me.
And though the path may be unclear,
I know that I can persevere.
So mirror, mirror, please don't hide,
The parts of me I keep inside.
For in your reflection, I can see,
The person I was meant to be.
