On May 10, 2024, the heavens adorned themselves with a celestial spectacle, casting the ethereal dance of the "Northern Lights" or, as the ancient Greeks named them, the "Aurora Borealis." This divine exhibition, painted in hues of emerald green, purposeful pink, and radiant yellow-orange, graced the darkened skies, captivating millions who witnessed its splendor. Amongst the flood of images flooding social media, some have captured what appear to be likenesses of celestial beings—seraphim, cherubim, or perhaps angels.
Questions arise: What significance lies within this celestial display? How do moving lights in nature portray semblances of life forms? Are our digital cameras malfunctioning or is it a trick of our eyes?
I propose neither. I do believe that most of the images shared online are authentic pictures taken by real people, and they are glimpses into what is presently occurring in the spiritual world north above us. Yes, the Throne of God presides directly north "NN" overhead (Isaiah 14:13). The North Star that scientists have accurately measured never moves because it is God’s Throne.
While scientists classify the Northern Lights as a natural phenomenon, their essence transcends mere phenomena. These lights, particularly in their recent physical manifestations, offer evidence of something wonderfully and profoundly transcendent, beyond our planet. God is allowing us a tiny glimpse into the majestic proceedings transpiring before the throne of God, high above the earthly plane.
Revelation 4 paints a vivid portrait of the awe-inspiring beauty and glory enveloping at God's throne. This chapter explains there is a rainbow round about the throne of God; the sight of His throne is like unto emerald (Hallelujah!). Round about the throne of God are other thrones and a multitude of creatures worshipping God. Before the throne, there is a sea of glass like unto crystal.
The spiritual is the greater and the physical is the lesser. Thus our physical realm (that we see and understand with our physical senses) mirrors the spiritual. What occurs in the spiritual world often in some way, shape or form manifests in the physical world. For example, the Northern Lights are a projection, a luminous reflection of God's resplendent throne and the celestial beings around His throne. The images capturing angelic forms are but similitudes of the real angelic beings worshiping before God's throne, much like how our shadow is a similitude of ourselves.
What, then, does all of this mean? On April 8, 2024, the world witnessed the second solar eclipse over a precise seven-year time period, plunging the sun into darkness in broad daylight—was a divine warning of impending judgment (Joel 2:31). The precise timing of these eclipses, coupled with significant celestial events, heralds a profound message from God to the world, USA and Jews: Divine judgment is at the door. The "X" occurring over the United States during the two solar eclipses is God’s warning that judgment will simultaneously commence with the diabolic world leader emerging from the USA (the Bible terms him the antichrist) who will deceive the world.
Following this divine warning of judgment, on May 10, 2024, God began to open our eyes with a glimpse of the spiritual world. These Northern Lights will become more frequent around the globe during this upcoming year leading up to the rapture in 2025. At that appointed time, the Lord Jesus Christ will call His church home to Heaven. Then God will pour out His wrath upon the world who refuse to repent. Seven years of tribulation.
Friends, the time is now for you to make a decision. Will you get right with God? Do not harden your heart with unbelief. Do not harden your heart with fake Christianity that professes Christ without a renewed life. Repent of your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Call out to Christ to cleanse you of all your sins, your hardness of heart and disbelief. Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross for your sins; he was buried, and three days later He resurrected from the dead. Now the question for you is what will you do with Jesus Christ?
