Genesis 18:25
Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
This question we ask in the midst of our plight,
When things don't go as we had hoped or planned,
And we argue and struggle to understand.
But we must trust in the Judge, who does see all,
Whose wisdom and justice shall never fall,
Though we may not comprehend His perfect ways,
We know that He works for our good always.
If there's something in your past that you regret,
And you're upset with God, please don't forget,
That He sees the bigger picture, the grand design,
And He's working everything out for your good and mine.
Do you think God was wrong in something you faced?
Consider His ways; they’re higher than any disgrace,
For even in our pain and our deepest despair,
God is very near us, and He hears our every prayer.
So let us hold fast to the holy promises of old,
That the Judge of all the earth is wise and bold,
For though we may not always fully understand,
God’s plan is greater than what we've planned.
Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
Yes, He shall always do what's just in His might,
And though we may not always see it clear,
We can trust in His goodness, forever near
