The world may tempt and allure,
But its promises are insecure.
Let go and let God be your guide,
In His loving care you can confide.
Don't chase the fleeting bliss of life,
It will leave you empty, full of strife.
Seek the eternal things above,
And find in Christ true joy and love.
The world offers a galore of pleasures
But soon they turn to shattered treasures.
Seek the matters of Christ with zeal
And find contentment that is real.
Don't be lured by worldly possessions,
They'll ensnare you with their obsessions.
Lay up treasures in Heaven's store,
Where Christ has gone to prepare us more.
The world may tempt with glitz and gold,
But its promises soon grow horribly old.
In Jesus Christ, we find a greater prize,
Eternal life that never dies.
So fix your eyes on Jesus' face,
And trust in His redeeming grace.
For He will guide you through each day,
And lead you on a wonderful way.
